My trauma Informed client led wellness coaching sessions are supportive and non-judgmental. I hold the space while you explore thoughts, life experiences and felt senses in a self-discovery process. You process at your own pace and in your own way. There is no cookie cut out methods that you have to actively participate in and you guide the session.
My multimodality approach gets to the root of the trauma and heals from the bottom up. Sometimes language isn't enough to move beyond blockages, old patterns that keep you stuck or symptoms that get in the way of life. With your guidance we choose what is right for you in your healing or self exploration journey.
Brainspotting is a brain based therapy for rapid and effective change and healing discovered by David Grand, Ph.D in 2003. It is designed to help people access and process past trauma including PTSD, negative emotions, blockages, different kinds of emotional and physical pain. It is a non-verbal or verbal deep brain mindfulness process that works to release sources of emotional pain and body held trauma. The motto of Brainspotting “where you look affects how you feel”, reveals how our brain and eyes are intricately connected. When we find a spot in our field of vision we gain access to what is going on within the body and we are able to connect to our brain's innate healing capacity. Brainspotting is a dual attunement process where the practitioner's and client’s relationship enhances the healing process. Brainspotting has the potential to separate your emotions from your painful situation (s), where the pain no longer affects you. During a Brainspotting session the practitioner compassionately listens to the client’s needs & experiences, while observing & watching for the client's reflexive cues.
Tong Ren was developed by Tom Tam, and is an integral part of the Tom Tam Healing System, Tong Ren is a form of energy therapy for restoring health and vitality. Tong Ren is based on a belief that disease is related to interruptions, or blockages, in the body's natural flow of chi, neural bioelectricity, blood, or hormones. Tong Ren seeks to remove these blockages, restoring the body's natural ability to heal itself, even when illnesses are chronic, debilitating, or otherwise untreatable.

Tong Ren can augment healing but does not replace or delay conventional treatment.
It is a combination of Western medical science with Eastern insights and offers a new approach to treating many terminal illnesses and some debilitating diseases. It introduces the concepts of bioelectricity and of synchronicity with the body’s natural health and emphasizes the need for stress reduction.

Art experiential sessions are a kinesthetic sensory-based process integrating art making and creative exploration in a safe environment to promote, maintain, and improve mental and emotional health, increase self awareness and facilitate new perspectives.
Expressing yourself through creativity allows you to move into a "witness/observer role" where you are able to rise above your challenges and gain an improved understanding of your true feelings as well as patterns and beliefs that negatively impact your actions and choices.
You do not need to be creative or an artist in order to participate these art sessions.
Parent consultation offer compassionate guidance and practical strategies for navigating the joys and challenges of raising your child. I meet with parents separately to support them with the complexities of being a parent and the uniqueness of their child. Parenting consultation is a necessary component of Kid Wellness Work, or can be a stand alone service.

Certification and Practice.
Certification in Brainspotting requires a minimum of 6 hours of consultation with a Brainspotting Trainer or Consultant.
Sessions are held monthly over the course of six months.
